Peaceful, tranquil oasis in the Hermanus wine valley.

Everything was magnificent. From the stuck away location in the peaceful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley to the spacious room and awesome wood fired hot tub. The staff were friendly and the horses too! Nothing was too much trouble, from additional towels, to extra coffee pods and glasses. The hot tub was definitely the highlight of our trip. We will be back soon!

Bliss

Absolutely beautiful. Tranquility at it's best. The little personal touches, e.g., fruit in the basket, milk and water in the fridge, copious amount of coffee and tea, not forgetting glorious bathrobes in the cupboard. The bungalow has everything you need to make breakfast.

Fabulous retreat a short drive from Hermanus.

Loved our stay in Jay Peg. Super cute, very comfy bed, amazing hot tub, a cozy woodfire stove for the colder evenings and waking up seeing the horses just by our deck was very magical.

Highly recommended

We stayed in one of the twin rooms (garden view) and had a spectacular time. The room was very comfortable, lots of gentle hike routes and a fantastic mountain water hot tub each evening (despite some rain!). A perfect spot if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, yet not far from Hermanus. Highly recommended.

Great value and next time we will stay longer!

We stayed in the Camden Park bungalow in March. It is a new bungalow with lovely views from the back & front decks. A beautiful bathroom with a bath easily big enough for 2! It has sliding full wall windows to make it feel like being outside. The shower was great too. The kitchen was stocked well with Nespresso coffee, teas, milk and delicious biscotti. It has a 2 burner hob, a braai and fridge freezer so some self catering would be easy. The king bed was very comfortable with good linens. Being able to see the sea (day) and the stars at night through the full length windows from bed was fantastic. We did not use the wood fired hot tub. The surrounding paddocks with horses (and wandering baboons) were interesting as we have very little horse knowledge. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It is a short and easy drive to Hermanus. Great value and next time we will stay longer!

A must visit farm near Hermanus!

Beautiful views from our stylish cabin. The fire heated hot tub is awesome! Sit and relax in the tub and watch the horses graze near by.

Piece of Heaven in the Hemel n Aarde Vallei

This is truly an exceptional property when you looking to get away from it all. The attention to detail is commendable. Highly recommended!

Exceptional

The location is stunning. You have to be mentally prepared to go off road. Be ready that its all dirt, unpaved from the road to the actual farm location. Signage is a little spotty but you have to have the confidence just to continue driving and keep verring left just take it slow. Getting away from humanity was fantastic. I haven't had an experience like that since my camping days in Boy Scouts. Sure there is internet, but the world just vanishes. I hope to return as my total escape.
To anyone new, don't be afraid of going off road. Its such a wonderful place. The horses are magnificent. And there are always a few, very friendly dogs and cats running around.
