Juvenile winner and another Jay Peg success
Yesterday at Kenilworth two Hemel ‘n Aarde breds won on the card starting with a 2 year old winner SAILOR SAM.
Owned by Messrs Henderson and van Huysteen, trained by Greg Ennion and ridden by Corne Orffer, the son of SAIL FROM SEATTLE was impressive in getting the better of FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT, the two being clear of the rest.
Later on, SPENDING SPREE scored her third win for Sunflower Syndicate, lugging topweight along the 1,000 metres track to lead home a 1-2 for trainer Brett Crawford.
Corne Orffer was also on board the filly who is by our stalwart JAY PEG (out of a JET MASTER mare).
JAY PEG thus achieved his fourth winner in seven days along with a long list of places in one of his regular purple patches.
Very well done to the connections of both Hemel ‘n Aarde bred winners and thanks for the support.
