JAY PEG SIRES WINNERS FROM HIS OWN HOME
Great run of winning Hemel 'n Aarde breds by the sire
Dual International Group 1 winner, Jay Peg still the highest stakes earner bred in South Africa, had 4 Winners in the last 4 days over distances ranging from 1200m to 2600m showing his versatility as a sire! Three of these winners where bred by Hemel 'N Aarde Stud on the same grounds where JAY PEG himself was born and raised.
The first one to start the quartet was Shake and Bake winning her 4th in a row, taking the 3rd race at Fairview over 1200m. Well done to the breeders Klawervlei Stud, owners Greg Bortz and Braam van Huyssteen, trainer Yvette Bremner and Jockey Gift Funeka.
Then the 1st of the Hemel 'N Aarde Stud bred Jay Peg's began in the 1st race at Turffontien where the filly Three G won comfortably by 2.50 lengths. Well done to the owners Ms L Salsone and Wallace Tolmay who is also the trainer and last years champion jockey S'Manga Khumalo.
Then to Kenilworth where Victorious Jay won impressively by 2.25 lengths when shedding her maiden ticket in open company. Well done to owner Vic Ragoonath and trainer Vaughan Marshall and jockey M.J Byleveld.
The 4th winner came at Fairview today when J.P's Prince went from start to finish in the 4th race over 1900m. Congratulations to owners Daryl Yutar, Bryn Ressell, Braam van Huyssteen, H.N. Yutar and David + Sandy Hepburn-Brown and trainer Grant Paddock and jockey Bryan Claassen.
