JAY PEG 3 YEAR OLD BENEFITS FROM TIME OFF

Good looking gelding looks set for further improvement

GIVEUSAGRAND looked ready to do more than that when winning over 1400 metres at Durbanville today from the disadvantageous 11 stall.  Bred by Hemel 'n Aarde Stud from LAKE CONISTON's first Stakes winner in South Africa ROSE RESERVE, the son of JAY PEG brought further success to Marsh Shirtliff who owns him in partnership with Bryn Ressell and Mesdames Consul and Hirschson.  Well done to the Mike Bass team and to stable jockey Grant van Niekerk after giving GIVEUSAGRAND time off to develop.
